Everyday…

Hello my dear friends and family, 

Today I am going to share with you about my everyday. 

My position here at Adventures in Missions is an Interviewer. I get to interview people everyday that are desiring to go on a journey to serve. They are searching to be placed in situation where they will have to do something outside of their comfort zone so they can encounter Christ in a way they haven’t before. I get to talk to these people everyday and walk them through whether they are in a healthy place to go out on the field, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. 

In my two and half months in this position I have gotten to chat with a lot of participants. Some we accept, and some we do not. I have heard countless of people’s stories and walks of life. There is a lot of rejoicing as we get to hear how God continually shows up in other people’s lives. But sometimes it’s very painful, and brings me to tears as I hear the true brokenness that we are constantly surrounded by. Sometimes we hear things that people have never told anyone before…why? because we ask. Our team desires to bring self-awareness that some participants don’t even know they need that will bring them closer God’s love for them and His desires. It’s a true honor to have the space to speak into people’s lives and discern, as a team, whether this is what is next for them. I love my job! 

The Lord has been moving so deeply in my heart as I have been able to step into gifting I never realized I had. This job is not only enabling participants to move forward into what’s next for them, but it’s opening awareness in my heart of God’s promises, intentionality for all of His people, and the redemption and freedom that only He can bring. I could not be more thankful.

Fundraising Update: 

By this Friday I have to have $595 raised to finish out this fiscal year. As a whole, I only need $295 left in monthly support to be funded for our next year. Will you pray about joining the team and becoming a monthly supporter financially & prayerfully?
